Streetscapes are being improved\, new restaurants are opening\, and a new hotel is almost complete.  The new Harkin Institute will be open by the end of this year and a remodeled Varsity Cinema will become the new home of the Des Moines Film Society.  Come see all of this and more during a Walking Tour of the newly forming Dogtown Business and Entertainment District.\n\n\n\nTour Highlights Include:\n\n- Free Appetizers and Tastings at Several Restaurants\n\n- Gift bag with Coupons\, Giveaways\, and Door Prizes\n\n- Developers and Community Leaders will be on hand to highlight \n\nprojects and improvements.\n\n- Door Prizes including several gift certificates to some of our participating restaurants.
