DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special breakfast at the Salisbury House!  Each year in conjunction with the World Food Prize conference\, the Des Moines Downtown Chamber and West Side Chamber co-host a keynote breakfast event featuring a Borlaug Lecture Series speaker. Our presentation this year will be given by Dr. Madhura Swaminathan\, a Professor and Head of the Economic Analysis Unit\, Indian Statistical Institute\, Bangalore. She has a doctorate in Economics from the University of Oxford and has worked on issues of food security\, agriculture and rural development for over 25 years. The title of Dr. Swaminathan's lecture will be: Challenges of food and nutrition security in India: A policy perspective.\n\n\n\nMake your reservations soon as this event has limited seating.\n\nNote: the West Side Chamber is processing all reservations this year.  This event is open to the community as well.
