KEVIN POKORNY founded Pokorny Consulting in Des Moines in 1991. He is a coach to small business owners, leaders and executive directors of non-profits; facilitates seminars on team development, minimizing unconscious bias, managing change and transition, cultivating emotional intelligence, sexual harassment prevention, and compassion and mindfulness.
Kevin is a graduate of Drake University. He is a member and past President of the Des Moines West Side Chamber board. He is the facilitator for the Chamber's Business Owner's Success Strategies (BOSS), a monthly gathering of small business owners that provide support to each other. Kevin is an active writer with extensive blogs on subjects of leadership, mindfulness, and team development.
