Terrace Hill is located at 2300 Grand Avenue in Des Moines, south of Interstate 235. Street parking is available on Forest Drive, which is on the west side of the property.
About Us
Terrace Hill, Iowa Governor's Residence and National Historic Landmark, is among the finest examples of Victorian Second Empire architecture in the United States. Terrace Hill is open for tours March through December and closed most holidays. Guided tours are given Tuesday through Saturday at 10:30 am and 12:00 pm. Reservations are required 48 hours in advance. Please call 515-281-7205 for reservations.
